Here is a link to my presentation. My presentation is meant to be used for fourth grade students learning about the gold rush in Idaho. It is an introduction, and isn't meant to go into to much depth. One of the things I tried to do is not add a title to each slide, but rather a "headline." A headline gives an overview of what the entire slide is about. If a student were to come in and sit down in the middle of the presentation, they should be able to read the headline and know what the slide is about.
I used several maps to show where gold towns were located. This is an example of representational graphics. I used very few words on the screen so that the learners would not be overwhelmed with information.
