The digital story I created is about writing and is meant for my class of fourth graders. Over the years I have had dozens of students tell me they can’t write or that they are not good writers. In my project, I gave a quick overview of the writer Wilson Rawls. He had no formal education and was a construction worker. Rawls ended up writing two amazing children’s book. I used the personalization principle by narrating the digital story in the same way I would be talking to the class, using conversational language.
